How BountyMoney works
A short read on what a bounty is, who pays, who gets paid, and how the contract decides.
- Pick a trader and a token.
- Set reward (USDC or SOL), volume target, hold duration, and expiry.
- Sign once. Reward + 5% fee lock in escrow.
- If the trader hits both targets, the contract pays them. Otherwise it refunds you.
- Find a bounty pointed at your wallet under My Bounties.
- Accept it. Volume tracking starts immediately.
- Buy the token to hit the volume target. Keep holding through the hold-duration window.
- Reward lands in your wallet automatically when both gates pass.
FAQ
A reward (USDC or SOL) a sponsor offers to a specific trader for hitting a buy-volume target on a token within a time window — and holding the position long enough. The smart contract pays out automatically once volume + hold are met.
5% of the reward, with a minimum of $20 USDC ($0.025 SOL for SOL bounties). The sponsor pays the fee on top of the reward — a $1,000 USDC reward costs the sponsor $1,050 total; a $200 reward costs $220 (the $20 minimum applies).
Yes. Sponsors choose USDC or SOL when creating the bounty. SOL rewards have a 0.25 SOL minimum and 0.025 SOL minimum fee. The trader receives whichever currency the bounty was funded in.
How long the trader has to keep their position open after buying. The reward only pays out if the trader is still holding tokens at end-time AND their earliest qualifying buy was at least the required hours ago. If they fully exit the position, hold duration resets to zero.
Optional. If set, only buys at or above this USD threshold count toward the volume target. Stops a trader from satisfying the bounty with thousands of tiny dust trades.
After the expiration window, the sponsor can refund the escrow with one click. Funds are returned in full minus a tiny gas fee.
Pre-acceptance: yes, after the expiration window — the contract refunds your escrow. Post-acceptance: no, the contract handles the outcome based on volume + hold duration.
